Rockhard Excavating is a fast-growing company with a positive atmosphere that specializes in residential and commercial Civil Construction projects. We are well established in the Okanagan and have been operating for 10+ years.
We are looking for experienced and reliable heavy equipment operators to join our team for a full-time permanent position.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience running excavators, skid steers, loaders, and packers
- 2+ years experience in the Civil Excavation industry - building roads, digging/backfilling foundations, digging/backfilling for utility mainlines and service installation
- 2+ years experience digging around live utilities
- Willingness to get out of equipment and assist ground crews as required
- Knowledge of proper equipment care and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of WCB standards for safe excavations an asset
- Knowledge of general geotechnical requirements an asset
- Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings an asset
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle
What We Offer
- Labourers $25 - $35 (2+ Years experience required)
- Pipe Layers $28 - $38 (2+ Years experience required)
- Operators $30 - 40 (2+ Years experience required)
- Wages per hour, negotiable based on experience level
- Annual Bonus
- Lots of opportunity for overtime
- Extended health and dental after 3 months of employment
- An additional day off on long weekends during the summer (4 day long weekends)
